Head of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence beekeeping syndicate and 500 hives, Fabrice Maccario is well established in the local landscape. His lavender honey, which accounts for 60% of his production, confirms his reputation. A high quality product, it combines the requirements of the IGP "miel de Provence" with those of the "Label Rouge miel de lavande".
However, this passionate beekeeper takes care to diversify his production by carefully ensuring the transhumance of his hives according to the flowering calendar.
