The canons manade

We are first and foremost from Camargue and have been breeding bulls for three generations. We were born here on the Manade des Chanoines, in the heart of Camargue, far from the bustle of city life, and our work has always been in harmony with nature and with our traditions. Often difficult to access but extremely verdant, unspoilt Camargue consists mainly of vast, flat, marshy expanses. You can find glasswort and sea lavender, as well as umbrella pines, juniper, tamarisks, thistle and marsh horsetail, dominated by reeds and rushes the closer you get to the water. Our region is also home to fauna unique in Europe. In addition, Camargue is one of the few regions to be home to almost all the known bird species in France, whose undeniable symbol is the pink flamingo. The Manade des Chanoines is also close to major tourist sites, such as Aigues Mortes, the city of great crusade departures, Arles, the capital of Camargue, with its ancient roots, near the Rhône, north of the famous delta, Le Grau du Roi, the unforgettable small fishing port, Les Saintes Maries de la Mer, the home of the gypsies, Les Baux de Provence, a place of inspiration, colours and light...
