In the resort of Auron, at the foot of the runs, the Lüvència Spa is an invitation to totally switch off in its 150 m² relaxation area with hammam, traditional sauna and 4 care treatment and massage cabins, including a double cabin. The treatment menu is signed Codage Paris, a range which places made-to-measure at the heart of their approach. Nail bar, eye beauty or hair removal, the Spa Lüvència also offers a varied menu of beauty services. Another not-to-be-missed address in the resort: the relaxation area of Hotel**** Le Chalet d’Auron, an idyllic place with a covered heated outdoor pool with a view of the mountains: sauna, hammam and massage of the world on prior booking. In the summer, you can also relax in the jacuzzi.

Off to the swimming pool

The gaming room or the cinema

To stay fit when the weather prevents you from skiing or hiking, don’t forget the pool. Located in the middle of the resort, Auron’s pool with an aquatic area, a kids’ pool and a balneo area, is easily accessible. Aquagym lessons are organised. On the terrace of L’Espace Rovery, open onto the mountains, you can also take a Viniyoga yoga lesson, based on conscious breathing. The perfect activity to slow down and reconnect with yourself. Bad weather can simply be an excuse to have fun with the family: L’Espace Rovery also has a gaming room for kids with video games, parlour games, wooden games and a ping pong table. Auron also has its own cinemaLe Riounet – its own media library, and its chapel, Sainte-Erige, which was built in the 14th century. And last of all, events are regularly organised by the Maison du Parc du Mercantour, in Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée.

Discover local gastronomy

And savoir-faire

All hands in the kitchen! Make the most of the bad weather to get your fill of good, fresh and seasonal products, and prepare little homemade dishes. Head for La Coopé de la Tinée, in Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée. You’ll find fruit and vegetables, groceries and even some ideas for gifts. You don’t feel like cooking? La Coopé will make up a delicious raclette platter (cheese and charcuterie) to take away. And when it rains, it’s a good moment to try mountain food: the resort and the village have more than 30 restaurants where you can enjoy local specialities!
