Treasures to discover in every season

The ruins of the 12th-century Réallon Fort and castle offer historic points of interest combined with very agreeable, easy walks ideal for families. Shaped like a square tower, the 16th-century Eglise Sainte Pelade with its remarkable octagonal belltower stands over the village. Réallon is still home to a number of passionate breeders and farmers, who will be delighted to introduce you to their time-honoured know-how and produce: cheeses, meats, honeys, jams and even a tasty beer. Around 30 minutes from Réallon, the “Muséoscope du Lac de Serre-Ponçon”,  invites you to learn more about this unique site. The building of the dam led to much permanent destruction and the disappearance of several villages, drowned beneath the waters. The Muséoscope retraces the building of the dam and fate of the villages that were swallowed up. Also, the Hautes-Alpes is a priceless hub of culture and heritage, also offering museums for every taste.
