A Christmas decoration made in Provence and the Côte d'Azur

Candles, baubles and Advent calendars

This year, trust the Sud brands to breathe magic into your home (and spoil your loved ones!). Thanks to the age-old savoir-faire of master candlemakers or the virtuosity of glassblowers, your Christmas decorations will combine creativity and quality.

Candles

For a warm, enchanting atmosphere

In the hall to welcome guests, on the table… Made in Sud candles give a sparkle to our Christmas decor. Elegant, ecoresponsible, delicately scented, they are a guarantee of quality. In Provence, terre d’Oc has a well-inspired artisanal range with a « thé de Noël » (Christmas tea) fragrance. The candles made by the family brand Cœur de Cigale are artisanal and also 100% plant-based! And to ward off the winter blues, the candle with essential oil of lavender from Distillerie Les Agnels leaves a gentle scent of summer in darkest winter. The Ciergerie des Prémontrés’ candles are concentrated tradition and perpetuate the savoir-faire of the Pères blancs of the Abbey of Tarascon. Magical! The fruit of perfumers’ savoir-faire, the candles of the Côte d’Azur stand out with their sunny fragrances: orange blossom or Star Anise lavender by Fragonard, precious Gaïac by Galimard, and tea basil by Molinard. At Collines de Provence, the floral scents take pride of place. And for retro-style decor, traditional tapers go so well with the spirit of Christmas, and can be found at Maître Cirier d’Auribeau.

Multicoloured Christmas baubles

Back to your childhood

Even though the tradition of Christmas baubles came from Germany, the master glassblowers in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur revisit it with talent, breathing life into creations which are a combination of savoir-faire and enchantment. The Verrerie de Biot, which has been livening up our homes since 1956 with its tableware inspired by the colours of the Mediterranean, has designed a handmade blown-glass Christmas bauble. We just love its pretty pale yellow colour, like a Côte d’Azur ray of sunlight in the winter. Alban Gaillard, a glassblower in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, gives a sparkle (and sophistication!) to our Christmas tree, with its round or pointed multicoloured baubles, which are also hand-blown.

Advent calendars

To help you wait while you look after yourself and others

Decorative objects, Advent calendars Made in Provence are also full of surprises! terre d’Oc’s, prettily christened « les Contes d’Hiver » (winter tales), contains 24 organic teas and herbal teas with flavours drawn from old stories. And every day, this solidarity Advent calendar has a QR code to flash where you can discover an association committed for social and climate challenges and biodiversity. Every year, L’Occitane en Provence, the brand of cosmetics inspired by Mediterranean nature, invites you to discover care products for the whole family – face creams and serums, shower gels and scented shampoos, hand creams, etc. – in its beauty Advent calendar. A good way to wait for Christmas… and find some lovely ideas for gifts.
