In the heart of an alpine pasture, at an altitude of 1,500 metres, in the Monges massif, about 5 kilometres west of the village itself, you will find the Cubertin Arboretum discovery trail. This short country walk allows you to explore the heights of the village.
A Natura 2000 contract for the ‘creation of a forest pond’ was signed in 2019 with a view to promoting biodiversity and mountain fauna and flora (birds, insects, butterflies, etc.), particularly the European barbastelle bat population, which has declined sharply in recent years.
