Cape Cride is a haven between sky and sea, ideal for breathing, admiring... and slowing down a little.
This rocky headland is located on the western side of Sanary-sur-Mer.
Recently redesigned as part of an ecological restoration project, Pointe de la Cride highlights the local Mediterranean flora and now offers a harmonious setting, ideal for relaxation and landscape observation, especially at sunset.
A small landscaped path allows visitors to walk around the headland on an accessible stroll, perfect for a family outing or a contemplative walk. The site is particularly appreciated for its open views over the Bay of Bandol, the island of Embiez, and Cap Sicié. Here, the walk follows the rhythm of the wind and the waves.
At the tip of the rocky headland, the Batterie de la Cride (1695) recalls the site’s former strategic military role. Although temporarily closed, it contributes to the site’s distinctive atmosphere.
For those wishing to extend the moment, a few wild coves below invite visitors to swim or simply sit facing the sea. These preserved natural spots are sought out for their calm and authenticity.
