Located in Ceillac, at the foot of the Mélèzet mountain, the 280 m-high Pisse waterfall is the starting point for a number of hikes. The GR5 route from the highest waterfall in Queyras takes you to Lac Miroir and then Lac Sainte-Anne.
Fed by Lake Miroir or Pré Soubeyrand, in winter the Cascade de la Pisse becomes one of the Hautes Alpes' best-known spots for ice climbing. In winter, the waterfall becomes the aptly named "Forms of Chaos", as climbers encounter all types of ice and configurations.
