The Gyronde is fed by the Gyr and the Onde wich meet at Vallouise. Agreeable river with irregula flow : snow and glacier melt, the power stations at Pelvoux and Vallouise can provoque important flow variations during the day. The two referenced trails are separated by the Vigneaux barrage (obligatory portage).
