The Gyr, short and powerful, the Gyr hurtles down the Vallouise Valley at a rate of knots. A veritable alpine torrent, the Gyr gives little respite to those who try to tame its glacial waves ! Near the glaciers of the Hautes-Alpes, the Gyr is a unique river that experiences changes in flow throughout the day.
