The Comtat plain, located at the confluence of the Rhone and the Durance, is more widely developed in the Vaucluse.
It is the largest agricultural plain of the department. Such countryside landscape is marked by the omnipresence of canals. The alignments of plane trees along the roads are bordered to the south by the Alpilles.
