Remarkable view of the olive grove at Bauduen

  • Viewpoint
Mairie de Bauduen, Place au monument aux morts, 83630 Bauduen
One of the best views of the olive grove is from the car park just before you reach the village of Bauduen.
In 1996, Bernard André, the mayor of Bauduen, wanted to revive the olive groves, most of which had been abandoned since the terrible frost of 1956. The aim was to reduce the risk of fire and improve the environment.

After many years, the Association pour la Renaissance de l'Oliveraie de Bauduen is proud to present you with a renovated olive grove, the signature landscape feature at the entrance to our village.
We owe this to all those involved, past and present, owners or not, residents or not of Bauduen.
