The Écrins National Park
This wild territory offers a great diversity of landscapes. From the flowered valleys to the Barre des Écrins, which peaks at 4102 meters, several mountains share the park. Nature, omnipresent, offers many opportunities for activities: walking, mountain biking, zip line, via ferrata, canyoning, rafting, kayaking, mountaineering in summer, but also downhill skiing, ski touring, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing in winter. The towns and villages of the park will make you discover a generous and greedy gastronomy: cow’s milk cheese, delicatessen, pies…
Mont Dauphin and Vauban
Saint-Clément-sur-Durance is located near the citadel of Mont Dauphin. Intended by Vauban, this fortress was once intended to protect the borders of the Kingdom of France from invasions. You will be able to admire the remarkable military architecture, which is now classified by UNESCO.
