The village of Caromb awaits you in the ancient Comtat Venaissin, just a few kilometres from Mont Ventoux.

At the Foot of Mont-Ventoux

Nicknamed the Giant of Provence, Mont-Ventoux culminates at 1,912 meters above sea level. Amateur cyclists come to follow one of the most mythical stages of the Tour de France, while hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts see it as a great playground.

The northern slope is home to a winter sports resort, Mont Serein. You can ski here in winter, and enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities in summer (hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, go-karting, etc.).

Heritage lovers can visit the neighbouring city of Avignon, famous for the Palais des Papes, the Pont Saint Bénézet, and its many museums (Musée du Petit-Palais, Musée Calvet, Musée Louis Vouland, Collection Lambert, etc.).

You can visit Orange, a town founded in ancient times and renowned for its magnificent Roman theatre and triumphal arch.

A visit to the centre of Carpentras is another great way to discover the town.
