A landmark in winter for fun and winter sports

Multi-activity sessions when the snow arrives

With 180 km of runs on the l’Espace Lumière ski area, spread between altitudes of 1500 and 2600 metres, winter sports lovers are guaranteed long days to make the most of them… in freestyle version for the most daring thanks to the Snow Park and until nightfall with Pra Loup By Night when the area is open. If this is not the case, there’s a whole host of other activities: in Pra Loup, the natural skating rink welcomes beginners and more expert skaters with a musical background in an always festive atmosphere. But if you want fun, toboganning is a must… race down the runs in a long line in Snake Glisse mode with all your group or try Praloops, the rail toboggan run for a thrilling ride. And if you have a bit of time left for an original experience, you can stand on the platform of a mysterious 100% electric machine: the famous gyropod. Then all you need to do is get going to enjoy a tour where you will be your own driver with no difficulty at all!

A variety of pleasures to live the real mountain life

Starting from the resort, you can also test snowshoes on 2 perfect itineraries for families and beginners. For the more seasoned, 5 other itineraries are accessible once you have braved the climb to gain altitude. Charmed by the wide panorama of the Ubaye Valley you’d love to get nearer… so get on your cross-country skis! You can mix walking and sport in its Nordic area to perfect your skating step in a perfectly natural setting. And then for the rest of the year, there’s no lack of ideas: 30 kms of marked trails for hiking, maiden paraglider flights and courses for a whole new look at the valley, mountain bike park and downhill courses … and for those who are nostalgic for winter activities, Praloops means all season tobogganing for fun all year round!
