On this guided hike, discover the history of Les Acles. This place was once a place of passage and life: one of the keys to the Clarée!
In this wonderful valley, we will walk in the footsteps of the resistance fighters who came to defend this part of France during the Second World War (1939-1945). We will discover in particular a support point of the Maginot Line with individual holes, cagnas, metro shelter and briançonnaises pills... In these fortifications built against the Italians will succeed each other Alpine Hunters, Moroccan Troops of Africa and Resistance from the Rhone, Jura or Ain... who will face the Germans!
Perhaps we will go to the pass where there is a military village and a curious blockhouse built between 1891 and 1904. The newspaper "L'illustration" sends a reporter during the winter of 1932.
We can also talk about erosion and torrential lava, the mine, the Clarée...
Good trail overall. Good shoes. Sticks recommended. Between 600 and 1000 m difference in altitude. Schedule and route to be defined together.
