"La Gorguette beach is a small sandy beach located in the district of the same name. For the year 2025, as part of the 'bathing water quality' approach, it was classified as 'excellent quality'."
Located in the seaside resort of Sanary-sur-Mer, the Gorguette beach is renowned for the quality of its bathing water.
Below the Farandole hotel, the Gorguette beach offers a breathtaking view of the Bay of Bandol, the eponymous seaside resort and the island of Bendor. Sheltered in the heart of the bay, it welcomes swimming and lazing around in an idyllic setting. A restaurant offers Provencal cuisine for a lunch or a dinner with your feet in the water. You can also rent seabobs, real underwater scooters adapted to snorkeling.
The beach of La Gorguette is non-smoking.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
A first aid post ensures the supervision of the bathing during the summer season, from June to September. In April and May, the bathing is supervised during school vacations and weekends.
The beach of La Gorguette is accessible by road, but there is little parking space in the immediate vicinity.
