Open during exhibitions and special events, information in our tourist board. Built between 1812 and 1821 upon the order of Emperor Napoleon. It never saw combat, except in 1944 during the liberation.
Fort Napoleon is today devoted to the enhancement of its heritage.
It houses Contemporary Art Galleries; hosts the Calendar Festivities in December and certain special events.

Permanent exhibition "From Bonaparte to Fort Napoleon": the history of the building is fully revealed, from the capture of Toulon in 1793 by the young Bonaparte... to the present day.

Access by bus Réseau Mistral :
From Seyne Centre or Fabrégas or Le Mai by line 81, stop at the nearest "Bonaparte".

All year 2025 - Closed on monday, on saturday, on sunday
9am-12pm / 2pm-5pm (Wednesdays close at 4pm). Closed on public holidays.
