RD 17, 13100 Aix-en-Provence
Route Cezanne is the only road in France that is listed as a Historic Monument. This example of exceptional heritage runs from Aix-en-Provence to the village of Le Tholonet.
Some people still call it the D17, while others knew it as the little Tholonet road, but since 1959 its official title has been "Route Cézanne".

This protected site is known all over the world thanks to the extraordinary beauty of its landscapes and the artist who immortalised them: Paul Cézanne.

La Route Cezanne joined "Impressionisms Routes" networks in early 2022.
The project "Impressionisms Routes" in Europe aims at creating and fostering, within the continent, a link between the sites that have inspired the European impressionist and plein air painters from the mid-19th century until the mid-20th century
