Le Groseau, in Malaucène, is the second karstic resurgence in the Vaucluse department, after Fontaine de Vaucluse. In summer, it's the ideal spot for a picnic or a stroll at the foot of the Ventoux. The spring water is drinkable.
A haven of cool air and water. Legend has it that the spring is named after the pagan god Groselos. A Gallo-Grecian stela to the god can be found in the Groseau chapel. In the summertime, the spring is the perfect place for picnics and relaxing...The natural spring feeds the cigarette paper manufacturing plant of 'Malaucène Industrie' and the village of Malaucène.
