The massif is also famous for its caves, which is known by speleologists, called "avens" and which constitute a real network due to their large number (around 800). You can discover all year long the fauna, the flora and the remains of old professions of the hills such as charcoal burners, Juniper ovens and lime kilns.
Access from the Vallée du Gapeau: in Solliès-Toucas, follow the direction of the IME Les Morières. Warning: there is no phone network in the plateau.
