Unearthed in 1907 by Canon Sautel, this ancient theater has been restored and now hosts a variety of shows. The 'Vaison Danses' festival, the 'Choralies' and variety concerts keep this emblematic venue buzzing during summer evenings.
Evidence of the splendours of ancient Vasio, the Theatre could hold up to 7000 spectators. Today the favoured setting for the famous "Choralies" which enliven the ancient city every three years, it has regained its rightful place in the cultural life of the contemporary city and contributes to its fame.
