A la découverte du massif de la Colle Noire

Mine de Cap Garonne, 83220 Le Pradet
A highly interactive stroll where visitors are invited to take part in their own discovery.
  • Ils s'engagent
The Colle Noire massif forms the initial western part of the Massif des Maures. Towering at an altitude of 300 m, it offers panoramic views over the Toulon harbor and the Saint-Mandrier peninsula to the west, and the Giens peninsula and the islands of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Levant to the east. It's easy to see why it has always been a strategic military position!
The proposed hike lasts around 4 hours and is accompanied by one of the National Park's ambassador guides. In addition to discovering the flora and fauna specific to this area, the hike also takes in its industrial past, with a stop at the old copper mine along the way. Finally, the hike ends at the Navicelle winery, where a wine tasting is offered to brave walkers.
