




The team at the Galerie de l'histoire de Martigues offer children aged 8 and over discovery and creative leisure workshops on a different theme every month.
2026 Program:
- January 21 and 28: Designing a nautical chart and a treasure hunt following the trail of sailors' treasure.
- February 4 and 11: Creating prehistoric figures in clay based on Bronze Age pottery fragments displayed in the showcases.
- March 4, 11, and 25: Graphic work on an archaeological object: a Gallic jar.
- April 1, 15, and 29: Discovering prehistoric fauna and an introduction to engraving using a flint tool.
- May 20 and 27: Identifying ancient and modern settlements on a ground map and reconstructing different forms of habitation on an aerial map of the area.
- June 3, 10, 17, and 24: Creation of drawings and engravings of an old rigging.
