The Abrazo de Gol collective, founded in 2023 by Gaby David and Maximiliano Battaglia, explores the intersections of diaspora, diversity and transculturality.
ENSP welcomes the Abrazo de Gol collective for an evening of screening and discussion around their project "Urban Identities on Display".
Since its creation, the collective has received two prestigious awards: a grant from the LabEx ICCA (2023), to produce the medium-length film Le Bal du Château Rouge (42'), and support from the Institut pour la Photographie des Hauts-de-France, to develop Urban Identities on Display (2024).
Through panoramic photographs and audiovisual installations, these two projects explore the visual culture and transcultural expressions of identity in neighborhoods rich in migratory heritage: Château Rouge, Paris and Wazemmes, Lille.
