An invitation to discover wild harvesting and the secrets of making handcrafted products from wild-gathered plants.
Accompanied by a member of the Plantivore team, you'll set off to discover the plants in season (hyssop, marmottier, barberry, rosehip...) and the golden rules of respectful picking. On your return, you'll be introduced to the secrets of transforming these wild plants into gourmet artisanal products: a unique opportunity to discover a multi-faceted profession: picker, of course, but also syrup-maker, liqueur-maker, herbal tea-maker and jam-maker!
Children must be accompanied.
The workshop will be cancelled in the event of bad weather, or if the plants to be picked are missing or fragile.
Equipment to bring: water bottle, appropriate footwear (a short walk without too many ascents and descents, accessible to all), weather-appropriate clothing, and snacks in case of special diets or allergies/intolerances.
Equipment supplied: picking gloves
A snack based on local products (notably cheeses) will be provided during this workshop.
