The Var Lamas breeding center offers discovery and knowledge courses, where you can get up close to the llamas, observe their language, and enter into the intimacy of the herd. The course is commented on by the breeders to explain the different uses and categories of llamas, a beautiful initiatory journey, punctuated by explanations at the heart of the tenderness and elegance of llamas. With babies born every year between April and September.
During your visit, we'll share 3 workshops with you:
- 1 brushing workshop to build confidence in the intimacy of the herd.
- 1 workshop introducing you to llama trekking.
- 1 wool discovery workshop, during which each participant will leave with a wool creation from our llamas.
Activities are supervised by a professional in animal mediation from the Institut Français de zoothérapie. Llama breeder for over 10 years, with several training courses on the knowledge and gentle education of llamas, 5 years' experience in the field of welcoming people with or without disabilities.
All equipment is provided for the discovery and knowledge of llamas.
We recommend wearing a cap and sneakers.
