The via cordata is a route equipped in a rock face in order to be able to move more easily.
This is an intermediate activity between classic hiking and rock climbing.Using rope techniques such as rappelling, roping on ledges and ziplines, this half-day excursion will take you to the heart of the mountains. creeks where few people venture out.
This course is affordable for beginners without any particular climbing knowledge. The first recall falls into a shallow basin usually containing water, which is easily avoided. From the second recall, things get serious, we will have to engage in a vacuum, and with a pendulum movement, manage to reach the next relay at a turn.
Then comes the third abseil which takes you on a small ledge a few meters above the water. The rest of the course consists of a long crossing over the water, with a few climbing steps that require a handrail to be put up with the few points or natural elements available.
You then join the zipline of Trou souffleur then the ascent path in Via cordata mode.
Due to the close proximity to the sea as you emerge from the waterfalls and throughout the crossing, it goes without saying that the weather is a factor to be taken into account and a calm sea is essential.
The duration of the activity is 4 hours.
To take with you:
Backpack with water bottle
Hiking shoes
Requirements:
minimum age 14 years
Important information:
The activity can be postponed in case of bad weather conditions.
