Departing from Peypin, you reach the hills via rocky paths and tracks. The route crosses the Fumades area before reaching the Col du Marseillais, which offers a 360° panorama of the surrounding massifs. Along the way, you'll stop off at an old lime kiln, a reminder of past stone quarrying activities. The route alternates between steady climbs and more rolling sections, for a complete hike that combines landscape reading and discovery of the local heritage.
Level of difficulty: Medium - Public: Intermediate.
What to bring: water, picnic, snacks, walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, cap, sunglasses, sun cream. Please note: supervisors may refuse to accept participants without suitable footwear.
