Here is a workshop for the realization of a basket in Mediterranean braid, in raw wicker. Lucile will accompany you throughout this workshop, to advise you and to pass on to you all her know-how as a basket maker.
During this workshop, you will learn how to make the Mediterranean braid, otherwise known as the Burkina stitch or the Neolithic stitch.
The first day will be dedicated to this learning, by making a small round basket.
The second day, it will be a creation in oval.
For the course at the Refuge du Pic du Mas de la Grave: once you have booked your course, please contact the refuge keeper Cécile to book your accommodation and meals. It is also possible to sleep in a tent and to bring your own picnic.
