OenoTour Adventure

The OenoTour Adventure Trail is for those who like to get off the beaten track. With this one, Clémence takes you along the Bandol wine route to meet winemakers who are passionate about their terroir. Along the way, a private tour of the cellars and a sumptuous Provencal landscape await you. But we'll let you discover that below!

Practical information:

> 2pm: Departure from Bandol

Following your reservation, a meeting point in Bandol will be arranged with Clémence, your guide. There are two options: pick you up at your home or meet us at the station car park if you are arriving by train. On request, we can also meet you in one of the neighbouring towns (Sanary-sur-mer, Saint-Cyr-sur-mer, La Cadière d'Azur, Le Beausset, Le Castellet), but this will incur an extra charge.

> 2.30pm: First estate: private tour and meeting with the winemaker

The adventure begins now! Our first stop is a private tour of an AOC Bandol estate, in the company of the winemaker. This is your chance to discover the secrets of making Bandol wines from the person who knows them best. The promise of a real moment of convivial exchange and sharing, away from the usual tourist trails.

> 4pm: Second estate: AOC Bandol wine tasting

Although the appellation's specifications are strict, each winemaker manages to put his own little touch in the bottle. That's why a tasting is essential if you are to appreciate the AOC wines at their true worth. Spoiler alert: this second visit is usually the place where visitors fall over themselves. Note that we cannot be held responsible for any calls from your banker!

> 5pm: A fitting end to a place steeped in history

To round off this afternoon full of discoveries, your guide will take you with her to her favourite spot. An unusual place, perched at an altitude of over 400 m, with a panoramic view over the vineyards of the Var. The icing on the cake is that this is also where you'll learn the most about the history of our land, the path of the Bandol AOC appellation and the geology of our terroir. All this while watching the sun set into the sea... Makes you want to!

> 6pm: Return to Bandol

All good things must come to an end, so we'll have to take you home at some point! So we'll be heading back to our beloved town of Bandol, once again via a road lined with vineyards. At OenoTour, we're into wine tourism right to the end!
