DISCOVERY COURSE
Arrive as a novice, leave as a Bandol AOC expert!

You can't have a great holiday in Bandol without learning more about our wines! This Discovery Tour is designed for those who want to get a first taste of the terroir in which they are staying. Its express format will enable us to cover the essentials of the appellation and the essential knowledge for any self-respecting immersion in Bandol. Let's set off on a journey back in time, to discover the know-how that has been passed down from generation to generation.

Practical information:

> 2pm: Departure from Bandol

When you book, Clémence, your guide, will give you a meeting point in Bandol. You have two options: you can embark with us from home, or meet us at the station car park if you are arriving by train. Please note that we can meet you in one of the neighbouring towns (Sanary-sur-mer, Saint-Cyr-sur-mer, La Cadière d'Azur, Le Beausset, Le Castellet) on request, but this will incur an extra charge.

> 14:15: Visit to one of the most beautiful spots in the appellation

The place we suggest is as historic as it is spectacular. Head for the top of a Provencal village, at an altitude of over 400 m, to admire the breathtaking scenery. In front of you, an amphitheatre of vines, the Mediterranean Sea, over 2,000 years of wine-growing tradition and a passionate guide to tell you all about it!

> 3.15pm: Visit to an AOC Bandol wine estate

After history, it's time for the present with a tasting of fine wines! To accompany this delicious moment, we've chosen a family-run estate that works hard every day to respect the living environment and the terroir of Bandol. Wine, exchange and sharing - wouldn't that be the basis of every good wine excursion?

> 16h30: Return to Bandol

Is it over already? Yes, time flies when you're having fun! After this first experience of discovering the AOC, we'll take you back to Bandol via a road lined with vines. Admittedly, it went by fast, but I promise that thanks to the lessons you'll have learned, you'll be able to shine at your next family meal and, above all, appreciate the future bottles you'll be tasting even more!
