Departing from the small wild port of Port Miou, we will discover the creeks of "Port Pin" and "En vau" along the limestone cliffs plunging into clear water. These are the 3 most beautiful creeks between Marseille and Cassis: on the program, turquoise water, rock cathedrals, superb lights ... These creeks, difficult to access, are part of the national park of the creeks, sheltering many protected species (fauna and flora). The old hoppers (Gros funnels) at the edge of the water on the cliffs are the remains of the old Solvay quarry which exploited limestone for the manufacture of lime in the years 1900 to 1981. The limestone was extracted with dynamite then crushed so that it could be loaded onto the boats waiting in front of the hoppers. The arrival on En Vau (the valley, the valley in Provencal) offers a magnificent condensed between sea and mountain. It is the most beautiful, the most picturesque and the most famous of the creeks. It is the cove of climbers who come here for its walls offering various difficulties. Its waters are also very clear, turquoise and emerald in color. You can simply access it by sea, along an impressive cliff on which you can admire the "Finger of God". Very deep, wild and majestic, it ends with a small sandy beach opening onto a fantastic panorama.
The activity can be postponed/cancelled in case of bad weather conditions.
