Between the Buëch and Durance valleys, between river and mountains, come and spend an unforgettable day on horseback!

In the morning, you will discover the communal forest of Val-Buëch-Méouge and the pastoral world of Montagne de l'Ubac. Then, enjoy the striking contrast with the banks of the Buëch and the joy of entering the water with our horses...

From the heart of the village of Ribiers, we will quickly climb to admire the Buëch and Durance valleys. A breathtaking view of the citadel and the Sisteron gorge awaits you. After crossing fields of lavender and wheat, we will find some shade and coolness in the forest where we will stop for lunch at a spring in the shade. It will be a welcome opportunity to fill our water bottles and water the horses...

The second half of the day in the Buëch plain will offer you a bit of coolness under the trees and even a refreshing swim with your horses before heading back!

Meet at 9:15 a.m. at the meeting point given when you make your reservation, and we will prepare the horses and saddlebags together. Please bring a picnic lunch (preferably sandwiches, so that they fit in the saddlebags) and a 1.5-liter water bottle. Return around 4 p.m.

Hike accessible to all levels of riders.

Customers must purchase an FFE license. If you do not have an FFE license, you MUST purchase one when you book the activity on the Addock platform. The FFE license is available in the “Extras” category, which you can access after choosing your ride, date, and time.

For all our activities, wearing pants, closed shoes, and a T-shirt covering the shoulders is mandatory for safety reasons.
