From Cuges-les-Pins, head towards the chapelle Saint-Antoine, before reaching the plateau to take in the sheer size of the Sainte-Baume massif. The route alternates between tracks, paths and valleys, with a few climbs to be negotiated at your own pace. You then take a wilder route to the Buscarle well, then to the Jas de Frédéric, a witness to the area's pastoral history. On the way back, the village nestled in its polje gradually comes into view, before descending through the Nivaillon valley. A varied hike combining relief, rural heritage and great landscapes.
