Via ferrata is the construction of an itinerary on a rock face using special metal elements (cables, rungs, ladders, ramps, etc.). Several itineraries are available in the Ecrins and Oisans regions, ranging from beginners' to long-distance routes.
You'll be self-belayed using dedicated equipment (double-lanyard with shock absorber) along an existing lifeline, and roped in with your instructor, according to climbing belay principles.
Halfway between hiking and climbing, some via ferrata climbs are accessible to the general public, enabling them to discover the vertical, and to discover themselves in the vertical!
Although the equipment in place tends to give climbers a feeling of security, via ferrata remains a high-altitude activity that entails risks: we'll teach you the skills you need to master the techniques of progression.

- Via ferrata d'Arsine - 1/2 day - easy level (from age 10)
- Via ferrata de Saint christophe en Oisans - big 1/2 day - medium level (from 12 years)
- Via ferrata de la Mine du Grand Clot and via ferrata du Voile de la Mariée - full day - difficult level (experienced teens and adults)
