Visit the "Vallon des lavandes" traditional lavender distillery

Sylvie and Thierry, producers and distillers, welcome you to their farm to discover the beautiful blue flower that is lavender. On-site, they will explain the cultivation and harvesting methods of lavender, from the cutting process to the transportation of the plant to the distillery, as well as each step of the distillation process.

The distillery is committed to sustainable, natural, and responsible development through the CENSO Charter. This initiative aims at continuous improvement, ensuring product certification and providing traceability in the production of our essential oils.

The distillation process follows traditional methods, allowing the lavender to dry naturally in the sun, which ensures an essential oil of optimal quality. This method uses already distilled lavender straw as fuel to produce the steam necessary for extracting the essential oils.

During your visit, you will discover the various uses of these essential oils. The distillery is located at the starting point of the "Lavender Path," which winds through our farm.
