Youcamp Village - Marseille Provence was awarded the European ecolabel in July 2022, making it the first in Provence. Awarded by Afnor Certification for a period of three years, the European ecolabel certifies the campsite's commitment to an environmental policy designed to reduce its impact, and to support both staff and customers in the ecological transition.
Several actions underline our commitment:
A 100% renewable energy supply and the use of energy-efficient materials and equipment.
The use of over 95% eco-labelled cleaning products.
Implementation of a waste reduction plan and on-site recycling of 100% of the campsite's green waste.
The selection of local and committed suppliers for the catering offer.
The elimination of all single-use plastics and numerous other information and awareness-raising measures implemented to encourage soft modes of transport and reduce the impact of tourism on the environment.
The accommodations (ecolodges, cabanons and chalets pods) are built to blend in with the natural surroundings. They are connected to an ecological wastewater treatment plant located below the campsite.
All wastewater is treated on site by a natural filtration system, limiting the impact on the environment.
All products used by the campsite maintenance team are eco-labeled and fully comply with the requirements of the ecological sanitation system.
