La Durance campsite is implementing a series of ecological measures to reduce its impact on the environment.
* Installation of water reducers to reduce water consumption.
* Public lighting reduced at night between midnight and 7am.
* Lighting gradually replaced by LED bulbs, which consume less energy and last longer.
* Regular monitoring of water consumption to identify areas for improvement.
* Selective sorting available to campers, with bins for household waste, recyclable packaging, paper and glass.
* Zero phyto thanks to the use of alternative techniques to chemical weeding, such as mechanical weeding and mulching.
In addition to these measures, the campsite raises environmental awareness among its customers by providing brochures and information on best practice.
These measures have enabled La Durance campsite to significantly reduce its impact on the environment. By 2022, the campsite will have reduced its water consumption by 20% compared with 2021, and its energy consumption by 15%. The campsite is continuing its efforts to further reduce its impact on the environment.
