In the Mercantour National Park, the small town of Guillaumes has a charming eco-lodge (environmentally friendly construction) in the hamlet of Villeplane, overlooking the Red Gorges of Daluis. Departure from star hikes or to discover the Mercantour lakes, accompanied or independently. Donkeys are at your disposal. Multiple activities such as Canyoning, climbing... near the lodge.

A stay at Villeplane means discovering the Gorges de Daluis, the "Colorado Niçois" where the Var winds its way along the foot of vertiginous wine-red cliffs. Classified as a nature reserve, this is an exceptional site.
Built from eco-friendly materials, the hillside gîte benefits from solar hot water. Its 7 rooms are spread over 4 floors. Each one symbolizes one of the 4 elements: earth, air, water and fire, identifiable by the colors of the lime plaster and cement tile floors.
Made from fresh, local and often organic produce, the generous meals are shared around a large table, in a convivial atmosphere.
Around 40 donkeys are bred on site and can accompany you on your hikes.
