The Ferme des Cavaliers, a friendly and ecological gîte d'étape in the heart of the Verdon Gorges!

In a preserved nature nestles the gîte of the Ferme des Cavaliers, an authentic renovated farmhouse, welcoming travellers throughout the season for a well-deserved stopover!
Located near many hiking trails (Grand Margès, GR99, GR4...), remarkable places (the Mescla balconies, the Artuby, Fayet tunnels...) and major climbing routes, the Ferme des Cavaliers is the ideal place for nature sport lovers.

With its different types of rooms, dormitory or private rooms, the accommodation is adapted to all your stays with family, friends or solo.
Every evening, you will be served home-cooked meals made with fresh, local and seasonal products (and with love!). We also offer a breakfast and picnic service. For self-catering stays, a shared kitchen is available.

Water is a central issue here: drawn from a natural spring, it is scarce after the hot and dry summers - and now also the winters. Dry toilets, limited showers and a good anticipation are therefore the keys to ensure a sustainable operation of the gîte. Thank you for your involvement!

The Ferme des Cavaliers is a place for disconnection & sharing. There is no mobile phone network - nor television in the rooms - so make the most of your stay to enjoy good home-made food, share a board game and have the chance to meet a roe deer at the bend of a hiking trail...

All bathrooms are private to the rooms, with dry toilets & walk-in showers (3 min time)

Reservations are required.
A deposit of 30% will be requested at the time of booking confirmation. Cancellation of the stay is free of charge up to 7 days before the arrival date. After this period, the deposit will be cashed and charged as a late cancellation or no-show fee.
