In the heart of a typical Alpine village, Villar d'Arène, Gîte les Mélèzes is an essential stopover for many mountain lovers. The rooms, which can accommodate up to 6 people, are some equipped with en-suite shower rooms, while others, in the "gîte" version, share sanitary facilities with the other rooms upstairs. Its location in the Ecrins National Park means you can explore the slopes and peaks in a variety of ways. Cyclists who take on the legendary cols of the Tour de France, such as the Galibier or the Izoard, will find a special welcome for their mounts at the Gîte les Mélèzes. Others can explore the surrounding mountains by hiking, skiing or climbing, the possibilities being endless.
