If you're looking for a quiet stay in an exceptionally well-preserved Haute Provence environment, far from the crowds and mass tourism, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the multitude of local hikes and discoveries directly from the gîte. As naturalists, we will share with you our knowledge of the area and its rich biodiversity.
Situated in a small village in the Verdon Natural Park, at an altitude of almost 1000 m, in a pastoral mountain setting surrounded by wild lavender, the typical unspoilt landscapes of Haute Provence and close to the Verdon gorges and lakes. Numerous local hiking and walking possibilities (Mont Chanier and le Chiran with its astronomical observatory, the ruined hamlet of Melle...). Very interesting local flora, preserved in Natura 2000 sites. Remarkable wildlife includes golden eagles, griffon and black vultures, chamois and marmots. Small trout river in the commune.
