Gîte paysan "Au Soleil Couchant" in Montlaux.

A small gîte for a couple and up to two children. West-facing, it comprises a bedroom with a double bed, a single folding bed and a crib.

Our Gîte Accueil Paysan is located at the foot of the Lure mountain, at an altitude of 650 m, 2 km from the first village of Cruis, 5 km from Saint-Etienne-les-Orgues, 20 km from Forcalquier and Sisteron, and 45 km from Manosque and Digne, on the Route Communale C1.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher. The gite has a bathroom with WC and a washing machine. No microwave, no TV, but internet access. An enclosed area is available with garden furniture and barbecue.

We produce organic lamb and beef. Nicolas looks after 9 suckler cows and a flock of 135 suckler ewes. He sells broutard meat in boxes and vacuum-packed (or sometimes retail for guests), pigs...chickens...a real farm!!!! All the animals are free-range... and all organically farmed!
