Sandrine and Thierry will be delighted to welcome you to a peaceful, green setting close to the village of St André d'Embrun.

Les Chambres d'Orel" is a single-storey ecogîte on the ground floor of a chalet with the owners' home on the first floor.
It comprises an entrance hall with table football, a large fully-equipped kitchen with dining area, a lounge-library area with an office area for teleworking, three bedrooms with views over Lake Serre-Ponçon offering a refined and original atmosphere, each with a private shower room and WC (2 double bedrooms with 160*200cm beds and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds 90*200cm that can be twinned to 180*200cm).
For your leisure activities: a room with a large-screen home cinema and video library, as well as a room with a Hammam cabin for 2 people and an elliptical trainer. Enjoy a moment of rejuvenation from the shaded terrace and enclosed 1500m² garden with views of the magnificent surrounding mountains.
Environmental approach to construction: photovoltaic panels, solar water heater, triple glazing, double-flow ventilation. Hydraulic central heating with heat pump. Possibility of equipment room. Private parking in front of the gîte.

For a comfortable stay: bed linen, towels, table linen and end-of-stay cleaning are included in the price.
Numerous possibilities for outdoor and leisure activities on site or nearby from the house ideally located on Mont Orel: hiking, mountain biking, horse riding; 7 km from Embrun lake and 11 km from Serre-Ponçon lake with their many water sports; for winter sports downhill and cross-country skiing at the family resort of Crévoux (9 km) or Les Orres (20 km). Internet connection via ADSL.

Art is also on show at the gîte, where you can admire numerous drawings by local artists.

Overlooking the Durance valley, the view from Chambres d'Orel is breathtaking: on one side, the birth of the northern part of Lac de Serre-Ponçon, on the other, the peaks of the Parpaillon. Although recently built, the chalet has taken on all the codes of traditional construction, using healthy, local materials such as stone and larch wood. High-performance insulation, solar panels and responsible water and waste management help to reduce its impact on the environment. Sandrine and Thierry offer 4 comfortable rooms with refined, warm decor. Surrounded by the Parc des Écrins and the Parc du Queyras, Chambres d'Orel is a wonderful base camp for exploring the surrounding area.
