Great achievement by the owners who committed to an approach of respecting the environment during the construction of their wooden chalet (solar panels, wood pellet boiler). The village is located in the Vésubie valley and is built on a rocky bar, an eagle's nest which overlooks the valley, just above Saint Martin Vésubie and dominated by the Colmiane peak. Welcome to visit the Saffron Cabin, the Tétou farm, and taste Venanson honey.

Gite on the ground floor of the owners' chalet : Entrance via gravelled terrace equipped with garden furniture & barbecue in living room (TV, DVD player, Wifi), kitchen area (dishwasher, freezer, microwave).
1 Bedroom with 1 double bed (90x190). 1 small bedroom with 2 single bunk beds (90x190). Shower room. Separate WC. The living rooms and bedrooms also open onto a terrace offering a view of the valley. Combined solar and wood heating. Charges included. Linens provided. Tourist tax extra. Car park. Storage room (ski and equipment). Hiking equipment loan/dem. Baby equipment provided on request (bed, high chair, bath, playpen, hiking backpack).

Sensitive to environmental issues, Christian and Jacqueline chose to build their chalet according to their ecological priorities. For them, living on the outskirts of the small village of Venanson in the sunny mountains of the Alpes-Maritimes, reducing their impact on this little corner of paradise was a matter of course.
To integrate the chalet into the site, they opted for traditional chalet construction, with pine, larch and stone, a shingled roof and a preference for vegetation adapted to the climate. Solar energy provides the necessary resources for heating and hot water.
The entire ground floor, with its terraces and balcony, has been converted in the same spirit into a very comfortable gîte. A particularly warm and committed welcome awaits you.
