Ideally located, the village center and harbor are just a 3-minute walk away, and you'll find all the shops, two diving centers and daily yacht charters, as well as a wide choice of restaurants and bars. The pier for the port of Toulon and the island of Porquerolles is a 5-minute walk away. A hiking trail starts at the foot of the house, taking you to an unspoilt beach and wild coves along the customs path around the peninsula. The village's 4 other beaches (three of them sandy) are within a 15-minute walk.
Free, unlimited parking is available on rue Jean Aicard. Free parking is available on the entire peninsula (regulated in the blue zone around the port).
Car-free vacations (for zero stress) are perfectly possible on the peninsula: Toulon TGV station is a 13-minute walk from the Toulon harbor landing stage, where you'll find a network of boat-buses (the Mistral network) with shuttles every half-hour linking Toulon, Saint Mandrier, La Seyne sur mer and Les Sablettes. Crossings cost €2 each, and €1 with a 10-trip card. The crossing of the harbor (the most beautiful in Europe) takes 20 minutes. The arrival by boat is a guaranteed decompression chamber! We'll be at the pier to welcome you!
The Saint Mandrier peninsula is linked to the town of La Seyne sur Mer by a sandy inlet, offering a landscaped park and an exceptionally lively beach with a night market, straw huts and numerous restaurants, as well as a small "Funny Land" amusement park for children. A wide range of water sports are available (sailing, diving club, sea kayaking, windsurfing, paddle, fishing, water skiing, towed buoys...).
Within a radius of 4 to 40 km, you can visit the Toulon harbor, take the cable car for a panoramic view, have lunch at Anse San-Peyre, cruise the Ile des Embiez and the Pointe du Brusc with its magnificent Gaou peninsula. Sanary awaits you with its most beautiful market in France, Bandol and its famous wine route, Hyères and its golden islands (Porquerolles, Port Cros and Le Levant) as well as the magnificent coastline from La Londe-Les-Maures to the (presidential) fort of Brégançon via the Estagnol beach. The typical villages of La Cadière and Le Castellet and the creeks of Cassis are not to be missed. The Castellet racetrack is 40 minutes away.
