The Clot Saint Joseph offers a set of guest rooms and gite in Vallouise Pelvoux, at the heart of the Ecrins Park, Hautes-Alpes France.
Our house is an old farmhouse dating back to 1811, typical arcaded houses in the valley of Vallouise, and offers all the necessary comfort for your holidays in Pelvoux, ideally located for outdoor sports activities.
The 2 cottages are independent apartments, traditional and regional character, that you can rent the time of your holidays.They allow you to be autonomous and you have a kitchen and appliances like home.

In winter, you can ski at the Pelvoux ski resort (10 min walk from the house), Puy-Saint-Vincent (15min car), Serre-Chevalier and Montgenèvre (30 and 45 min). Beyond skiing, in our family resorts are offered many activities snowshoeing, cross-country skiing dog sled: the mountain offers many facets to discover!
In summer, you can discover the white waters of the Gyr, kayaking or rafting, but also practice climbing in Ailefroide. Multiple hiking trails from 1200 to over 3000 m altitude will allow you to meet the fauna and flora of the Ecrins: we are on the GR54, and from the bottom of the valley, from Mrs. Carle field, you will reach the Glacier Blanc, located under the Barre des Ecrins. This place is also the alpine mountaineering that you can do with qualified mountain guides to accompany you on your first ascents.

Built in 1811, this traditional Alpine farmhouse has changed vocation. Today, it houses not only guest rooms, but also a spacious gîte, the Gîte Eychauda. In summer and winter alike, the recently renovated Gîte Eychauda can accommodate up to 10 people in comfort. Original materials, such as larch wood and stone, have been preserved as much as possible. They give the apartment an atmosphere that cleverly blends modernity and authenticity. The ski slopes of the Pelvoux resort are just a few minutes away. And in summer, there are endless opportunities to explore the Ecrins National Park as soon as you walk through the door.

- From Vallouise, continue towards Pelvoux, go past the ‘Pelvoux Le Poët’ sign at the entrance of the village. Then, 50 m after the square and the fountain turn onto the small road to the right, follow the sign LE CLOT DE SAINT JOSEPH to enter the hamlet of Le Sarret.
Cross the bridge over the Juliane, 100 m after the bridge it is the large house on the left with two levels of balconies.
