We are delighted to welcome you to Refuge des Sources. Respect for the environment is central to us. For ourselves, for you and for future generations, we do everything we can to minimize the impact of our activity on the environment.

That's why :

WE RAISE AWARENESS AMONG OUR TEAMS AND CUSTOMERS:
As soon as they arrive, our teams are trained in the eco-gestures to be observed in their daily tasks.
We choose our service providers and suppliers on the basis of their sustainable and social commitments.
We provide our customers with information booklets on our wifi portal to avoid printing.

WE SAVE WATER AND ENERGY
We have installed water economizers/pressure reducers on taps and showers so as not to deplete the resource.
We read our water and electricity meters every day to optimize our consumption.
We replace every light bulb with an LED or low-energy bulb, and have already fitted over 90% of our lighting.
All our lighting is LED, which means energy savings and similar comfort for our customers.
We have installed presence detectors and timers in certain common areas/hallways to limit energy wastage.
We have installed electronic mixing valves in staff toilets and changing rooms to limit water wastage.

WE LIMIT AND SORT WASTE
We work with a majority of bulk or large-pack products to limit unnecessary packaging.
We offer hospitality products only on request to reduce packaging waste.

WE CARE ABOUT OUR CUSTOMERS' WELL-BEING
We cook with seasonal and local produce, and adapt to special diets.
The products used to clean our rooms are eco-labelled, which means better air quality and fewer health risks.
For the well-being of our teams and you, we have banned bleach, which is irritating to the respiratory tract and toxic to aquatic organisms.
Our establishment is completely non-smoking.

Since 2010, we have reduced our energy consumption by 50%.
