Le 2J Sushi

2J Sushi is the story of a long-standing friendship that combines with a passion for cooking and the desire to make it a reality through a modern and dynamic concept.
Jonathan and Julien had this new idea inspired by street food made in the USA. Jonathan studied science and Julien studied hotel management. At the time of setting up their company, both had already had several years of successful experience in the restaurant business.
Jonathan and Julien came together in 2013 to create 2J Sushi. In April 2013, to hone their skills, they enrolled in the Antibes Sushi School run by Ingrid Koenders, a Dutch chef who herself was trained by sushi man Akira Oshima, the first starred Japanese chef in Europe.
In August 2013, the dream became reality and Jonathan and Julien opened a Sushi-car entirely dedicated to the passion of sushi, this Japanese dish that they learned to make with talent and that they want to popularize and make people love.
2J Sushi was born and is therefore first and foremost a truck designed for restaurants, specially fitted out to cook Japanese food and offer a wide variety of sushi for sale.
The advantages of selling in a food-truck, the professionalism of Jonathan and Julien and the indisputable rigour in the quality of the ingredients and the freshness of the products they work with naturally lead the two heroes to success. In La Ciotat, you can enjoy sushi worthy of those you can buy in the streets of Tokyo.
